Echidna, Actually there's more to it then that. I believe my friend can explain better than I can.

(She pulls out a large magic mirror then lays it on the ground)

Echidna, Meet Areion The Wise. A Sacred Guardian.

Areion, Greeting dear friends. I may not know of you but I know the quest you seek.
       You must help kind sirs. For the task at hand is extremely dangerous.
Iron Man, Your talking about Valgaron?

Areion, Yes, Valgaron The Destroyer. An Ancient evil Dragon from a forgotten age. The Story is thus.

Hawkeye, Ok. Does anybody but me find it weird we're talking to a giant horse?

Wolverine, No stranger than anything else we've seen so far.

Areion, Long ago. 3 million years ago during the Seventh Age of our world Solarius-
       Nargoth. There were Five Great Dragons. the original Sacred Guardians our
       predecessors before us. They were the protectors of our world. The most gifted
       and strongest one of them all. Valgaron The Destroyer or by his original name
       Valgin The Wise. A founding member of The Order of Dragons.
Hawkeye, Oh in a way these Dragons were more like us The Avengers.

Areion, In a way yes. However dark times befall them. Valgin grew increasingly power
       hungry. He was slowly being corrupted by his own power. A darkness was brought
       upon him. The darkness of the mind. He would no longer care about protecting the
       world but ruling it instead. After two thousand years Valgin decided he was going
       to rule Solarius-Nargoth as Supreme Dark Ruler of all Dragon kind. Build an Dark
       Dragon Army to lay siege to the world. Thus born the Dragon Wars which lasted
       over 20,000 years. Casting out his old name from Valgin to Valgaron The Destroyer.

Iron Man, Wow.

Areion, However in time the remaining Four Great Dragons manage to defeat Valgaron and
       defeating him Army. Though too powerful to outright to destroy him. They decided
       to seal Valgaron with a Golden Dragon Statue and bury the Statue at Dragon
       Pyramid at the edge of the Dragon Country. Never to be seen ever again.
Echidna, An interesting Story.

Iron Man, Which begs the question is. How did the Golden Dragon Statue end up here on
         Earth?
Areion, That was the work of Laura.

Echidna, Laura? Wait your talking about Inari's daughter? I thought she was dead? Killed
        off by Aloura.
Areion, No Laura lives. It wasn't until later that I remember Inari don't have any
       children at all. We finally discovered her true identity. Laura isn't the daughter
       of Inari's. She is the avatar of Valgaron The Destroyer.
Echidna, WHAT?!

Areion, It was his plan from the very beginning. It was Valgaron who opened the doorway
       to Felarya and brought Crisis the Naga to our world. It was Valgaron in Laura
       disguise form who manipulated and incited Inari The Dark One to attack our world
       four years ago. It was Valgaron who brought The Hulk to Felarya. It was him
       who awaken Aloura The Darkness from her slumber. He planned this from this very
       beginning.
Echidna, Why?

Iron Man, Eliminating the competition. That's why.

Areion, Your are correct sir. Without anyone who could opposed him. Valgaron knew if he
       drew out our other enemies and eliminated them. Then he would go unchallenged by
       anyone and cement his rule as Supreme ruler of our world.
Hawkeye, That still doesn't answer the question why the Statue is here on our world?

Areion, Valgaron used his Avatar to open a doorway from our world to your and brought
       the Dragon Statue here in your world.
Wolverine, And that's why Doom wants this Statue.


Areion, I believe the one you called Dr. Doom is being manipulated by Valgaron. He wants
       Doom to set him free. Now do you understand the gravity of our situation? If
       Doom awaken that Dragon. He will unleashes an unspeakable horror beyond his
       comprehension.
Hawkeye, Great another great evil to deal with. As if Gaia Nexus isn't bad enough
        already.
Echidna, Gaia-Nexus?

Iron Man, It's a long story.

Areion, We are very aware of Gaia-Nexus. We learned of her name and her origin after she
       attacked and possessed our friend Crisis. She mist be stopped as well. But a more
       pressing matter is at hand. You must stop them from reaching the Golden Dragon
       Statue. It will mean the end of your world. I can't ask you to do this if you
       don't want to there is no shame in backing out.
Iron Man, Sorry, Mr. Areion but we can't do that.

Hawkeye, We're Avengers that's what we do. Saving the world from the scum of the world.
        It's who we are. We can't back out now.
Iron Man, We're up for it Areion.

Wolverine, Looks like I get to slay a Dragon.

Areion, Thank you all of you. I wish we could be of some help but we can't leave our
       world. So we decided to send Echidna in our stead. She more than enough to help
       you on your journey.
Iron Man, No sweat. Oh allow me to introduce ourselves.

Hawkeye, Name's Clint Barton A.K.A Hawkeye at your service.

Wolverine, Logan. Wolverine.

Iron Man, Names Iron Man. Tony Stark. Playboy Billionaire and all round ladies man.

Areion, You must hurry. Time is of the essence. The longer we wait the more time they
       will need to awaken him from his slumber.
Iron Man, Will get right on it.

Hawkeye, Ok. Answer me one thing. Where on this Island is the Golden Dragon Statue?

Iron Man, While Areion was talking I finally able to locate the Dragon Statue.

Echidna, So where is it?

(Stark points to the extremely tall building to the north)

Iron Man, Where else would you hide an artifact of great power? In Magneto's old Citadel
         in the heart of the City.

Hawkeye, Then we better not waste anymore time. We should hurry.

Echidna, No we have to wait until later. Look. (The Sun starting to set) The Sun is
        setting and it's not a good idea to be traveling after dark. That's when all
        the more deadlier creatures come out at night. That's why its best to set up
        camp here and why until morning.
Iron Man, Alright. Let's get going.
